Our school choir enjoyed a lovely day out on Wednesday as they went on a trip to Newry Omniplex to see Disney’s, ‘Aladdin’. The kids also enjoyed a little nosey around the shops at the Quays shopping centre. There were sweeties galore!
Afterwards we enjoyed a sunny picnic lunch at Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor and a very enjoyable wander around the Narnia trail. The children enjoyed searching for the fairies which inspired Declan Carville’s book, ‘The Fairy Glen’, who recently visited our school. We topped off our day with lots of fun at the swing park and a yummy ice lolly from Miss Murphy to cool us down.
What a thoroughly enjoyable day and a well deserved treat for this hard-working, talented bunch! We were very glad that the sun shone on us all day and the heavens only opened as we boarded our bus back home.
