Children’s Mental Health - Healthy Minds

As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, we had Daddy Gerard and his son Gerard from Kazoku Karate Club working with the children to build an understanding of resilience and developing healthy minds.
The men had games planned out to help children understand that you don’t always win, but to win you have to work for it. They talked about how competing against each other is healthy and working together is supportive in a team, and to learn from mistakes.

The children enjoyed the sessions.
