Pupils support the Senior Football Team in the County Down Championship Final

Pupils at St Patrick's P.S. got fully involved in the great excitement last week leading up to the County Down Senior football Final.  Members of the team (past pupils of our school) along with team manager, Ross Carr and GAA committee members visited the school on Friday 23rd September.  Pupils wore yellow and white in support of the 'Yellas' and listened with interest as past pupils spoke of their great achievement and the hard work involved in getting so far in the competition. Pictures below show pupils and team members engaging in an enjoyable talking and listening session.

Clonduff GAC organised an art competition for all pupils and donated generous prizes which were much sought after. Pictured here are the overall prize-winners in each section along with the runners-up who were awarded certificates for lovely art work .  Thanks to the GAC club for the effort they made to involve all the children.  Well done to the footballers - we are all proud of you!
