Catholic Schools Week - Living in Harmony with the Earth

P6 are raising awareness, this Catholic Schools Week, of how we can live in harmony with the earth. In groups we enjoyed discussing how we can live in harmony with the earth. The children explored ideas such as conserving the rainforests of the world, tackling deforestation, reducing our use of single use plastics, conserving water and electricity, reduce, reuse and recycling, and protecting endangered animals, plus many more.

We enjoyed designing watercolour pictures of our ideas. We will collate our pictures by creating a book on ‘Book Creator’ on the iPad, which we will present this Friday at assembly, to develop our ICT skills.
