Book Talk with Author, Gerard Siggons

Room 8 and 9 had a lovely trip to Eason's Bookstore in Buttercrane, Newry on Wednesday. We listened to excerpts from Gerard Siggons amazing new book, 'Rugby Spirit'. He told us about his life as an author, his inspiration for writing and how he turned to children's fiction after a career in sports journalism. We really impressed our teachers with super interesting questions for Gerard. We thank Easons for giving us a 'goodie-bag' each and lots of free books to help us celebrate World Book Day.
