Congratulations to Alana (P.7) who solved the tricky maths challenge below and wins a prize for Maths Week.

Here is the answer:5170

Puppies= 4 children X 4 backpacks X 4 dogs X 4 puppies X4 legs X 4 toes = 4096

Dogs = 4 children X 4 backpacks X 4 dogs X 4 legs X 4 toes = 1024

Children=  4 children X 2 legs X 5 toes = 40

Driver = 2 legs X 5 toes = 10

Total= 10 + 40+ 1024 + 4096 = 5170
