🐷A visit from the vet 🐶
Room 2 were learning about animals linked to their topic, The Farm. The role play area was a vets surgery were the children dressed up as vets to help the sick animals or dressed up as animals who went to visit the vet. Miss McAnulty’s sister-in-law kindly came into visit the class to tell them all about the role of a vet. She brought along lots of things she would use as a vet and allowed the children to pretend they were treating an injured dog. The children told her some information they were learning about animals for Report Writing.
The children really enjoyed asking questions and finding out what a vet might have to do each day. They loved looking at samples of fleas, ticks and teeth.
Thank you to Caitlin and her little son for coming in and helping the children learn more on the role of a vet.
