A new novel for P.3/4: ‘Essio Trot’ by Ronald Dahl

It is difficult to get a Roald Dahl novel that most children haven’t read but Mrs O’ Hare managed this when she chose ‘Essio Trot’ as the new class novel for P.3/4. The children began reading the new books today and found the plot full of interest and the characters very engaging. They all agreed that the illustrations by Quentin Blake are strange but fascinating. Pupils are looking forward to finding out what happens next.....
