3d Model Buildings
Last week was MATHS INVESTIGATION week. All Primary 3 used a selection of 3D junk material to create a building e.g a church, school, shop, house and and library. 2d shapes were used to add features to the building e.g windows, doors and signs. When we created our village each child was able to talk about their building and could name the shapes used in their model. Mrs O’Hare and Mrs O’Neill were blown away and couldn’t believe the creativity, time and effort that was put into the buildings. They were AMAZING! It was a great team effort with their parents and family. Mrs Smith and Mr McConville (Numeracy co-ordinator) we’re invited to see the models. They too couldn't believe how good they were and wanted to showcase them for the rest of the school to see. Each class got to come and view our village. Mr Byrne, chairman of The Board of Governors called into school and he was very impressed in the detail included. Well done everyone on the fantastic effort.
