🧐🤔💭 Lego Fractions 🧐🤔💭

P7 have been exploring and problem solving using Lego. 

The children were able to make fractions and then progressed onto using their fractions to add using a common denominator. The children were even challenged to adding fractions using different denominators.

The children were able to explain their mathematical reasoning and evaluate their work while learning how to effectively work with a partner. They are looking forward to exploring equivalent fractions next week using the Lego.
