P2 Mini-beast Hunt

On Thursday 26th of May Dr. Gretta McCarron, the Outreach and Training Officer from OPAL  Queen's University, Belfast visited P2!  The Open Air Laboratories Network (OPAL) is a UK-wide Citizen and Science Initiative that allows you to get hands-on with nature, whatever your age, background or level of ability.

Dr. Gretta is an expert in plants and animals in our local environment.  She helped us to survey and investigate the types of mini-beasts living on our school grounds.  We used guides, bug-viewers and magnifying glasses to collect and look at the creatures we found.
