Rio McEvoy came to visit his former P1 class-mates!

On 3rd June former pupil, Rio McEvoy, came to visit our current P7 class. Rio spent P1 and P2 at our school before moving to St Patrick's in Mayobridge and then to live in England where he attends the Football Academy of Blackburn Rovers. Rio was always a great soccer fan and loved playing football outside. His dream has come true and he is now playing for Blackburn Rovers.

Rio came home to make his Confirmation in Mayobridge but also made a short visit to our school to meet his former classmates and tell them all about his new life. As well as daily football training Rio attends class lessons and discipline is considered to be of the highest importance.

Our P.7 boys were delighted to see Rio and asked a variety of interesting questions.  Good luck, Rio!
